Episode 111 – The future of VR
After a week off thanks to the plague that came to Seattle, we return this week to discuss the oft dreamed of world of virtual reality. While we know that VR is never going to look like it does in the movies until we can jack it straight into our brains, what’s coming out later this year isn’t too shabby. Charles and Megan have joined the ranks of crazy early adopters and pre-ordered the Oculus Rift, but it’s not the only game in town. Sony is launching the Playstation VR and HTC in a partnership with Valve is launching the Vive. We talk about all three of these and even touch on the Microsoft Hololens.
