Speaking of comics, here is an article on the kerfuffle that was the canceled Batgirl variant cover; TL;DR – Rafael Abuqurerque is pretty awesome for standing behind the fans.
Speaking of comics, Nick is SUPER WRONG – lots of people have picked up Mjolnir, and they were all worthy.
Moving to professing our love for things, Christine Love (no pun intended there) makes amazing games – great stories that leave you thinking about what happened for a loooong time. I’m still thinking about Don’t take it personally, babe, it just ain’t your story!
Back to comics, if you want a great story that isn’t something you’re going to watch on the big screen this summer, Saga is something to get into now. It only started in 2012, so you don’t have ages of back issues, and has been described as “Star Wars meets Game of Thrones” Sold.
When we derailed talking about our love of the really odd teenage heart throb James Vanderbeek, we discussed Defiance – that odd TV show that tied into the MMO? Not something that lasted super long though.
Lastly, since we were lucky enough to pry Jon away from his new DS to podcast, a few of the games we discussed were Etrian Oddyssey for the DS, and Persona 4 for the PS2.
