Episode 45 – Timely E3 Coverage

We’re just as shocked as you are that we’ve somehow managed to put out 45 of these things. This time around we talk about all of the wonderful things we’re looking forward to from this year’s E3.  Yes, that was weeks ago. We never claimed to be the most timely of nerds, but we are enthusiastic about what we enjoy. If you aren’t familiar with what we discuss on the podcast, there’s always links below in the show notes. They’re even more worth visiting this time around as most of them include trailers to this year’s stunning lineup of games. And as we wrap up, it’s a discussion about X-Men: Days of Future Past since nobody besides Charles had gotten the opportunity to talk about it on the podcast previously.

The ever important show notes:

dorkadiapodcastNew Tom Clancy games – Rainbow Six: Siege and The Division

A new, open world Legend of Zelda game coming to the Wii U.

Shadow of Mordor

Multiplayer co-op in Assassin’s Creed Unity.

If you didn’t yet know, Dragon Age Inquisition is coming in October.

Next Mass Effect game discussion during the EA press conference.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5 were both touted at E3.

Charles was attempting to remember Scalebound for Xbox One.

Cuphead – seriously, look at that gameplay.

To settle the argument, Frozen was released on November 27th of 2013.

Sunset Overdrive

Megan wanted to talk about Inside by the game company, Playdead.

The game Nick is describing is actually just called Rain and it’s on the PS3.

Among the Sleep looks like the creepiest game…

And one last note about violence in X-Men movies: “The MPAA views mutants as less than human, and therefore their pain is not worth as much of our anxiety, or not as troubling to children.” – James Mangold in an interview with Digital Spy.
